SEYM Activities

SEYM pursues prosocial, noncommercial activities based on statutory aims (§7), including:

Bringing together yerba mate enthusiasts and those interested in cultures of Brazil, Paraguay, Argentine, Uruguay and drink tea
Promoting intercultural dialogue
Providing information about yerba mate qualities
Advancing consumption of Paraguay tea in Poland
Educating about the mate-drinking culture and its rituals
Dissemination of knowledge about the culture of drink tea, it's properties, methods of preparing and consuming

The Association will accomplish its objectives by (§9):

Organizing club meetings to exchange knowledge and experiences of yerba mate culture
Organizing competition and exhibition events within local community
Purchasing of yerba mate and Paraguay tea paraphernalia to promote mate-drinking culture, using member fees to integrate fellows and honorary guests
Organizing and financing field trips for members and guests
Sponsoring prizes in mate-themed local contests
Documenting and exhibiting local and international members achievements
Organizing and conducting workshops and lectures devoted to yerba mate culture
Organizing and conducting workshops and lectures devoted to tea culture
Writing and publishing educational materials
Pursuing other activities helping to achieve statutory aims
Issuing proposals to local governmental institutions
Speaking out and publicly expressing opinions
Cooperating with local governmental institutions and other entities
